- Equivalency for UK Seafarer Medicals or ENG 1 for the MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency) - ENG1 Seafarers Medicals are the main medical fitness certification for those who work at sea.
We provide mariners with pre-employment, periodic and return-to-work medicals as well as all necessary certificates of competency. The marine medical exam tests for visual acuity, colour vision, hearing and other physical requirements. It may also include additional medical testing to include ECGs, audiograms and routine and recommended vaccinations, such as hepatitis A and B and typhoid fever.
